Champagne visits are usually centered around cellar tours and tastings.
However, a small number of Champagne houses also offer places where visitors can sit down and enjoy food at the estate.
From full restaurants to casual cafés and terrace dining, these experiences allow guests to pair Champagne with a relaxed meal.
While the region is famous for wine, places to eat at Champagne producers are surprisingly limited.
Most are located around Reims and Épernay, with only a few in the surrounding villages.
If you would like to combine a Champagne visit with lunch or a casual meal, the following houses offer that possibility.
Champagne Houses with Restaurants & Cafés in Reims
Reims is home to several major Champagne houses and is also the city where you will find the largest number of producers offering places to eat.
Veuve Clicquot — Café Clicquot
Café Clicquot is a seasonal café located at the Veuve Clicquot estate in Reims. Visitors can enjoy casual dishes such as burgers alongside Champagne from the house, including the well-known Champagne-Burger pairing highlighted by the brand. Veuve Clicquot has also collaborated with renowned gourmet burger chefs to reinterpret this pairing.
The selection by the glass ranges from the house’s classic Yellow Label to the prestige cuvée La Grande Dame. If you didn’t have the chance to taste a particular Champagne during your cellar tour, this is also a great place to try it.

Champagne Houses with Restaurants & Cafés in Épernay
Épernay and the surrounding area also offer a few places where visitors can enjoy food directly at Champagne producers.
Perrier-Jouët — Cellier Belle Époque
At Cellier Belle Époque in Épernay, visitors can enjoy light meals on the terrace, including dishes such as club sandwiches served with Champagne. An à la carte menu is available and reservations are not required.
In Épernay, it can be surprisingly difficult to find somewhere to eat if you miss the usual lunch hours. That’s why this place is particularly convenient — if it’s open, you can usually grab something to eat. Keep in mind, however, that the garden terrace is very popular during the tourist season, and it’s not unusual to see a line forming at the entrance.

Elodie D — Bulles & Bonheur
Bulles & Bonheur is the restaurant run by Champagne Elodie D in Épernay. Opened in 2023, it offers seasonal French cuisine paired with the house’s Champagnes in an intimate setting.
This is the only restaurant located directly on the Avenue de Champagne. It’s also one of the few places open on Sundays, which is especially convenient. If you’re planning visits, it pairs well with a tour of Mercier just across the street.

Champagne House Restaurant in Champagne Villages
Outside the main cities, a few Champagne villages also offer unique dining experiences at producers.
Jacques Selosse — Les Avisés (Avize)

Les Avisés is a restaurant run by the Jacques Selosse family in the village of Avize. It offers seasonal cuisine paired with Champagne, making it a unique dining destination in the Côte des Blancs.
Personally, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the Champagne region. Many visitors come here hoping to drink Jacques Selosse — which is perfectly understandable — but the restaurant also stands out for its excellent selection of wines beyond Selosse.

Reservation: Required
